Terms of Service

These terms of service (the Terms) govern your use of the Bellacombe website and the purchase of goods from us. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Definitions

  • "We", "us" and "our" refer to De Haan Online, trading as Bellacombe.
  • "You" and "your" refer to the customer placing an order through our website.
  • "Goods" means the products offered for sale on our website.
  • "Website" means bellacombe.co.uk.
  • "Contract" means the agreement between you and us for the sale and purchase of Goods.

3. Ordering and formation of the contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase Goods subject to these Terms. After placing your order you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean your order has been accepted. A binding Contract is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email confirming that your Goods have been sent. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and arrange a full refund of any amount already paid.

4. Prices and VAT

All prices shown to customers in the United Kingdom are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We take care to ensure that all prices are correct, but if we discover an error in the price of Goods you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel the order.

5. Payment

Payment is taken at the time you place your order. We accept the payment methods displayed at the checkout, which may include major debit and credit cards and other secure online payment options. All payments are processed through secure payment providers.

6. Delivery

Delivery within the United Kingdom is free on all orders, with no minimum spend and no threshold. We aim to dispatch your order within 1 to 2 working days, and UK orders are typically delivered within 7 to 12 working days after dispatch. Every order is sent with full Track and Trace. We are unable to deliver to PO boxes. Please note that part of our range is shipped from trusted partner warehouses abroad, and full delivery details for the United Kingdom and other regions are set out in our Shipping Policy.

7. Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the Goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at info@bellacombe.co.uk before the 14-day period ends. You then have a further 14 days to return the Goods. In addition to this statutory right, we offer a 30-day returns period. Unless the Goods are faulty or not as described, the cost of returning Goods is your responsibility. 8. Faulty goods and your consumer rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If Goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your legal rights, and we will cover the cost of return in such cases. These rights are not affected by these Terms or by our returns policy.

9. Complaints

We aim to provide a first-class service, but if something goes wrong we want to put it right. Please send any complaint to info@bellacombe.co.uk and we will acknowledge it promptly and do our best to resolve it fairly and quickly.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Our liability is otherwise limited to the value of the Goods you have purchased. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These Terms and any Contract formed under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, and you will benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of that country.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order is the version that applies to your Contract. Please review these Terms each time you shop with us.
